Sunday 19th May. National Motoring Heritage Day Canberra cavalcade and Club presentation lunch – Oaks Brasserie Weston Park
For National Motoring Heritage Day each year we stage an informal parade through the popular central areas of the National Capital, ending with a commemorative Lunch including presentation of the Club’s annual trophies for restoration and preservation of heritage vehicles.
10am: Convene in the carpark at the summit of Red Hill, by the former Carousel/On Red Restaurant.
1030: Depart on a leisurely itinerary, winding at slow pace through Forrest, Red Hill, Manuka, Parliament House, Parkes, Reid, Braddon, Civic, and Yarralumla.

1200: Park near the Yarralumla Nursery for our Presentation Lunch at the Oaks Brasserie. A reservation has been made for a substantial group in the weatherproof marquee section at the back of the historic cottage premises.
We will need to confirm numbers closer to the date.
Those who tell us in advance their food orders from the Brasserie Menu will receive priority service.

Sunday 16th June. Royal Hotel Bungendore, via Wamboin
For this gentle winter run we have made a booking at the Royal Hotel Bungendore for 12noon.
We will need to give the hotel a reasonably accurate number about a week out from the run – that is, by the first week of June.
The Hotel menu changes weekly, so we will provide a sample menu for your consideration closer to the run. The range is normal pub food, usually with a Sunday Roast special.
This time we propose assembling at the Bunnings Carpark at Majura Park, then travelling via Pialligo, Sutton Road and Wamboin then back into Bungendore.
A 10.30 departure from Bunnings should get us there with ample time to look around the shops before lunch.
