Updated ticket arrangements for August 17 Show n Shine at Wakefield Park, National Museum of Australia collection display

The National Museum of Austraslia has updated it’s arrangements for Wakefield Park Saturday August 17 2019, and the August Colonial information is now out of date.

In particular, if you wish to enter the Show and Shine area, then you must buy a Show and Shine ticket online.
If you buy a Show n Shine online ticket you’ll be informed by NMA of Show n Shine parking locations etc.
No marquees permitted.

We will still meet at Bungendore as per Colonial, roundabout Bungendore Road & Tarago Road – departing 0840am.
Please share this and discuss with members without email access.

Thanks for your interest in A Chequered Past, vehicles from the National Museum of Australia. Here is some info to help you out.
We are last corner into the straight and we are NOT going to take our foot off the accelerator. We hope you are getting as excited as we are about A Chequered Past, vehicles from the National Museum of Australia.

Just a bit of information for all the car clubs that have expressed an interest in the event. Please note that tickets for the Show ’n Shine and the Marshalled Laps are only available as pre-purchase. Those tickets are ONLY available until 5pm 14 August. This will allow us to send you all an email with maps of the Show ‘n Shine area and give you an indication of when the Marshalled Laps will be going out. It is very unlikely that we will accept entries on the day.

General admission tickets will be available up until the 17th as pre-purchase and will be available on the day to purchase at the gates. Just a sneaky heads up, the queue for purchasing tickets is likely to be long. If you want to get in with little fuss, have your pre-purchased ticket printed out or on your phone so we can scan it.

We will be sending maps out to all clubs and individuals who have booked for the Show ‘n Shine and for the Marshalled laps on Thursday 15 August so you have more information. Just a reminder and for anyone who has not been there before, the carparks at Wakefield are gravel. It is good gravel, but it is gravel. There will be no room for personal marquees in that area, but you are welcome to bring brag boards, club banners and deck chairs. Please note the terms and conditions.
